Fire Damaged Contents in Dickinson, TX

This chair was covered in soot from a house fire in Dickinson, TX. The house fire was a result of a electrical fire in the kitchen that spread soot throughout the two story home. SERVPRO of West Fort Bend County was called out to clean the structure and pack out and clean the contents offsite.

While walking the site with the adjuster our technicians performed a quick cleaning demo for the adjuster and homeowner. The picture shows the amount of the soot that has affected the contents.

In the after picture you can see how our fire technician was able to do a quick cleaning of the chair for the homeowner. After the homeowner saw how well they can be cleaned up, we proceeded with packing out the rest of the contents to be cleaned and deodorized offsite.

Our customer was thrilled with how well we cleaned up all the furniture and with how well we were able to remove the odor.
