Mold Remediation in Richmond, TX

This home in Richmond, TX was affected by a slow leak from behind the kitchen cabinets. SERVPRO of West Fort Bend County was called out to help remediate the mold that was discovered during "Demo Day" of the homeowner's remodel.

SERVPRO of West Fort Bend County setup up containment on both entries to the kitchen to prevent any cross contamination during the remediation. Once the containment was setup a negative air scrubber was placed to help filter the air during the demo. Our technicians then proceeded to remove the affected drywall and insulation. Before placing the drying equipment the affected studs, seal plates, and floors had to be cleaned and sanitized to prevent the spreading of the spores that were present.

In the after photo you can see where the affected materials were removed and the studs, seal plates, and the floors were cleaned and sanitized.

Our customer was happy that we were able to remediate all the mold from the kitchen , and he could proceed with his kitchen remodel.
