Busted Toilet Supply Line Causes Water Damage in Needville, TX

This home in Needville, TX, was flooded as a result of a broken toilet supply line. After having been out of town for several days, the customer arrived back home, only to find water running out the front door, and their entire home flooded. SERVPRO of West Fort Bend County immediately responded and began extracting water from the carpet and flooring, removed wet, swelled baseboards, and set up appropriate drying equipment to thoroughly dry out the structure. Because of how saturated the carpet was and how long the water sat, the carpet had to be removed. These photos show the saturated carpet and the results of the drying process, where baseboards were removed and holes added to the base of the drywall to vent the walls to speed up the drying process. The client was very pleased that the home was completely dried in 4 days.
