Water Damaged Home in Cypress, TX

This home in Cypress, TX suffered from a water heater leak in the attic. The homeowners came home to their ceiling being collapsed in their hall bath. SERVPRO of West Fort Bend County was called out to help remove all the wet materials, address any other areas in the home, and setup drying equipment to help dry out all the affected areas.

In the after photo you can where our technicians removed the rest of the ceiling to dry out the decking above, but more importantly to prevent any accidents from occurring on the job site. Once the areas were cleaned we used 3 mil plastic to contain the attic off from the house. This helped keep the loose insulation from falling back down into the affected bathroom.

Our customer was happy we came out so quick on a Friday night and took care of all their issues.
